We personally tested this light weight Lithium Ion 100ah group 31 battery at a full charge it was able to run the truck fridge for 6 days. Other batteries lose voltage gradually and your accessories stop working at around 10 volts. Lithium Ion stays at 12-13 volts then shuts off when it can't anymore. This results in longer run times on your plug in accessories with a lower amp hour battery.
More Efficient Charging
Our Deep Cycle LiFePO4 batteries are far more functional than lead acid alternatives, charging at nearly 100 percent efficiency.
Lithium’s efficiency is also helpful when you’re storing solar power. Perhaps you’re trying to charge your battery before the sun goes down. With a LiFePO4 RV battery, you get the maximum amount of energy from your solar panels, so you have more than enough power by the time night falls.
Fewer Maintenance Requirements
There’s no way around it: Lead acid batteries need a lot of maintenance. When you’re on the road, you have enough to worry about without having to take care of your battery. Lead acid RV batteries have the following upkeep requirements:
Longer Shelf Life
While you may wish you spent more time living in your Westy, you have the comfort of knowing your LiFePO4 RV battery is safe when you’re not using it. Lead acid batteries deteriorate quickly when they’re not recharged every day.
Better Safety Features
Equipped with built-in safety measures to protect you and your family during your adventures. When your battery comes too close to overheating, a temperature control mechanism automatically shuts it down.
Most lead acid batteries don’t include this fail-safe feature, putting your Westy in danger of catching fire. Coming into contact with foreign metals may also cause a lead acid battery to ignite. Choosing LiFePO4 batteries is the much safer decision.
